NIght Out 2026

Meadowbrook Community’s 10th Annual Night Out

Tuesday, August 4th, 2026 — 6:30pm to 9:30pm
Alton Avenue NE and NE 107th Street

Join your neighbors for Meadowbrook Community Night Out-a free, family-friendly evening celebrating community, connection, safety, and neighborhood resilience.

This year’s gathering will bring together residents from Meadowbrook and surrounding Northeast Seattle neighborhoods, along with City departments, local schools and teachers, emergency-preparedness organizations, and community volunteers.

The event is free and open to the public. Everyone is welcome!

Food and Refreshments
Our neighborhood host families will provide hamburgers, hot dogs, veggie burgers, chips, cold drinks, toppings, plates, cups, napkins, flatware, and sanitation supplies. We will offer options for a variety of dietary needs whenever possible.

Potluck – Bring a dish to share if you please. You are welcome-but never required-to bring a favorite salad, side dish, vegetable dish, or dessert to share.

Grills are available and beverages are included.

Activities and Community Resources
Enjoy an evening featuring:

  • Children’s and Adult games, bubbles, and sidewalk chalk
  • Community safety and emergency-preparedness information
  • Opportunities to meet neighbors and local community partners
  • Information from invited City departments and neighborhood organizations
  • Food, conversation, and activities for all ages

Seating and Accessibility
Covered tables and chairs will be available so neighbors can relax, eat, and visit comfortably. Providing seating helps make the event welcoming for everyone: adults, families, and guests with mobility challenges. You are also welcome to bring your own chairs.

Bringing a Potluck Dish
If you would like to contribute food, please:

  • Bring your dish in a non-breakable container whenever possible
  • Label it with your name and contact information so the container can be returned.
  • Provide a list of ingredients for guests with food allergies or dietary restrictions.
  • Bring an appropriate serving utensil.

Share Your Photographs
We welcome photographs from the evening! If you take pictures, and you would like included in the community gallery, please send them to Pam Bowe at pbowe@bowecompany.com. You may also include captions and social-media information if you would like to be credited.
